We play a vital role in educating children’s palates, encouraging them to try new things and making school meal times an enjoyable and social highlight of their day. We work in partnership with schools and parents, helping them understand the value of nutrition and encouraging take-up. As a result, more Cheshire children are eating a hot school meal – up from 50% to 60% in the last year – with over 4,000 extra free school meals now served to infants.
Proof, if it were needed, that successful catering uses fresh ingredients.
We take great pride in cooking everything fresh on-site, and menus typically include home-made dishes of the day, fresh veg (in season) and a salad bar.
